BORN NOVEMBER 27:

James Agee (1909-1955) American author, poet, and critic; wrote the autobiographical A Death in the Family earning him a posthumous Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1958; and the text for a book of Walker Evans's Depression-era photos, Let Us Now Praise Famous Men.
